To use our website www.yaaxka.travel and the services we offer, you must be of legal age and accept our Terms and Conditions as outlined below. If you do not meet either of these conditions, we kindly ask you to immediately leave this website. By remaining on and using the website www.yaaxka.travel, we understand that you accept our terms and conditions, and we may apply future limitations or penalties based on them.

When you contact us, you provide personal information such as name, phone number, and email, which we may use to share offers and upcoming trips with you. We invite you to read our Privacy Policies.

Reservations

If you are interested in traveling with Ya’axká Experience Travel®, we recommend reviewing all the information about the tour of your interest. Get in touch with one of our advisors to clarify your doubts and obtain as much information as possible, ensuring that your experience is unique and enjoyable.

Travel reservations will only be valid if made through our official channels:

To make a travel or tour reservation, you will always be required to pay 50% of the total cost, which can be paid in a single payment or in interest-free installments (MSI not applicable for Short Trips) with participating cards (VISA, Mastercard, and American Express), directly on our website www.yaaxka.travel. The remaining amount must be paid 10 days before the travel date; failure to do so will result in the total loss of the reservation deposit.

The person making the reservation is responsible for providing all the information about their companions, such as full names and ages (copies of identifications will be requested).

The cost of the tour or package will always be available in our ads and/or website www.yaaxka.travel. In case of cost modifications due to a promotion or giveaway, they will only be applicable if made within the dates established for said promotion or giveaway. It is important to note that promotional discounts cannot be combined on our offered services, i.e., promotional discounts cannot be applied on existing promotions.

Cancellations

Ya’axká Experience Travel® is an intermediary tour operator for various direct service providers. Our trips or tours are planned months in advance, so we are not exempt from external causes of force majeure or fortuitous events that may alter the provision of the contracted services, either partially or entirely. In case of any extraordinary situation, we will always be willing to offer you solutions.

If you wish to cancel, it will be necessary to submit a written request 15 days before the travel or tour date, via an email to the address info@yaaxka.travel, formally requesting the cancellation of your trip or tour. Include your full name, copy of official identification, contact information, and bank account to which the refund will be applied. All information will be verified, and a response will be sent to the registered email within the following 3 days after the request. The cancellation will only be valid for the person who made the reservation, and the refund will be processed within 15 to 20 days, subject to cancellation penalties that will cover operating expenses, taxes, and commissions.

In the case of “Short Trips” or “stays“, no refund of the reservation or deposit will be applicable, and please note that no cancellations are accepted for these trips.

In the event of rescheduling, requests must be made in writing 15 days before the travel or tour date and will be subject to the costs of the next trip. This does not apply to Short Trips.

If you need to transfer your travel spot to another person, you will need to submit a written request from the original buyer with a limit of 5 days before the trip departure. It will only be applicable to reservations for adults and is transferable to another adult. There will be no refund for price differences due to promotions or discounts, although charges for cost differences will apply if necessary. By requesting a transfer, it is considered that the new person acquiring the trip or tour accepts our terms and conditions of service, subject to the scope and limitations of the package originally contracted.

In the event of cancellation by Ya’axká Experience Travel®, notice will be given in advance, and the option of a 100% refund of the reservation or total payment will be offered, or the possibility of applying the amount to another trip if desired by the customer.

Travel Requirements

All travelers must present an official identification (INE, INAPAM, or student ID) when boarding the transportation, and this must be carried throughout the trip or tour, as Ya’axká Experience Travel® will not be held responsible if access to hotels, tourist centers, museums, or any activity requiring identification is denied.

In all tours, it is necessary to be punctual for the departure appointment, for which we set a meeting point and schedule days in advance. We recommend arriving one hour in advance of the meeting place, as attendance will be taken, and out of respect for all travelers, no waiting for latecomers will be allowed. In case of missing the trip due to delay or absence, no refund will be applicable.

If you are traveling with your pet, check in advance if our trip or tour is Pet Friendly. Make sure your pet has a carrier, leash, and identification tag, as well as all vaccinations (vaccination card will be requested). Remember that you are responsible for your pet at all times, and only small and medium-sized breeds will be accepted.

During the Trip

The cost of the trip does not include admission to archaeological sites, museums, meals at restaurants, food and beverages, taxis or rideshare services, nightlife venues, outdoor activities, or anything outside of what is offered in the contracted package.

It is the traveler’s responsibility to follow and respect the rules and instructions of the travel operator and the guides of the places we visit, as well as to behave appropriately and respectfully towards other travelers. Our goal is for you to enjoy and have fun safely, fostering tolerance and a pleasant atmosphere on each trip with Ya’axká Experience Travel®.

If you need special assistance or have any medical condition, it is necessary to inform your travel operator Ya’axká Experience Travel® to provide you with a better, safer, and more enjoyable experience.

Each trip has an itinerary that will allow you to explore, discover, and relax in each place we visit. We recommend managing your time and taking care of your personal belongings, as schedules for accommodation and transportation are usually strict. We urge our travelers to bring only what is necessary on their trip and take care of their belongings. At Ya’axká Experience Travel®, we are not responsible for personal belongings lost at any time, so we invite you to read our travel recommendations.

If you intend to fly a drone during your stay, check in advance if the area permits it, as there are archaeological or military sites with limitations, and they may confiscate your equipment.

Services acquired with local providers independently or outside the package contracted with Ya’axká Experience Travel® are the total responsibility of the contractor and the provider. Ya’axká Experience Travel® has no interference in any agreement not stipulated in the package.

Avoid at all costs disrupting order or committing illegal acts that endanger the freedom or integrity of any other traveler or service provider. In case of any irregularity, notice will be given to the corresponding authorities, and your service will be immediately suspended without a refund.

The traveler will be responsible for damages and/or material losses within the hotel, transportation, or to the detriment of any other traveler, caused by themselves or their companions due to misuse or negligence. The traveler must take immediate responsibility for the expenses generated, as well as possible suspension of the service if deemed necessary.

The consumption or transportation of illegal substances or weapons is not allowed at Ya’axká Experience Travel®, so we ask you to avoid traveling with them, as notice will be given to the authorities if their use or transportation is detected. The consumption of alcohol and tobacco will be the responsibility of each traveler, but its consumption will not be allowed during group transportation.

Minors

Under no circumstances will solo travel by minors be allowed, and they must always be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian (of legal age), who will be 100% responsible for the minor’s well-being.

Regarding costs, children from 1 to 8 years old will pay the child rate, while those over 8 years old will pay the adult rate. Children under 1 year old are free. Identification will be required for this purpose.

AntiCOVID Measures

We maintain anti-COVID rules, and care is the responsibility of everyone. Before boarding the transportation, we apply hand sanitizer and take the temperature of each traveler (the use of masks is optional). If you have a high fever, unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with the service, and no refund or rescheduling of your trip will be possible. So, we ask you to take care of your health days before the trip.

Disclaimer

The traveler waives all rights to request a refund or take legal action against Ya’axká Experience Travel® for possible damages or breaches by external service providers.

The latest version of the terms and conditions will prevail over all previous versions.
